California DUI

How Long does a DUI stay on your record?

As with most things…it depends. It depends on several factors that can contribute to your expungement. DMV records are forever while criminal records may be expunged from future disclosures ( employment, licensing boards etc.). If you are calling for questions regarding an expungement, please have the following:

1. When were you convicted? For what?

2. What Courthouse?

3. What was the sentence?

4. Did you comply? If not, why?

5. Did you break your probation or parole?

6. Are you currently on probation?

7. Are there any charges you are currently facing?

8. What are your expectations?

9. Have your records handy, case number etc…

As you can see there is lots of information that needs to be covered. Talking with a DUI attorney is not only  going to help you find your way, but help you move on with your life.
